As used herein, “you” and “your” may refer to you as an individual (e.g., donor or visitor), or as an organization (e.g., campaign organizer). As used herein, “User” means donor, campaign organizer, and a visitor to the Website.

We use your personal information only for providing and improving the Service. By using this Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Policy.

LobbitUp reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace this Policy by posting an updated version on the Website. It is your responsibility to check this Policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

Collection of Information

We may collect and process the following information about you:

  • information such as your name, organization name, entity status, cause names, phone number, email and postal address, that you provide by completing forms on the Website, including if you register as a User of the Service, upload or submit any material through the Website, or request any information.
  • information, such as campaign-specific location information, campaign-specific subject matter information (e.g., general campaign information as well as cause specific information), information about which campaigns/causes you visited, and information about pledges that you make to one or more causes.
  • LobbitUp never stores your payment card number or security code as all such information is provided directly to our payment processor, WePay’s privacy policy is incorporated by reference herein and can be found here.
  • your log-in and password details in connection with the account sign-in process;
  • details of any requests or transactions made by you through the Service.
  • communications you send to us, for example to report a problem or to submit queries, concerns, or comments regarding the Service or its content.

Uses of Your Personal Information

We will use the personal information you provide to:

  • identify you when you sign in for your account;
  • enable us to provide you with the Service;
  • send you information we think you may find useful or which you have requested from us;
  • administer your account with us;
  • assist a campaign organizer to administer a campaign account (e.g., to verify or provide status information of a donation, to provide receipts to donors);
  • enable us to contact you regarding any question you may have or make through the Service, or to assist you in campaign- or Service-related matters;
  • analyze the use of the Service and the people visiting to improve our content and Service; and
  • use for other purposes that we may disclose to you when we request your information.


  • LobbitUp will send email relating to your personal transactions as donors or relating to your use of the Service as an Organizer. We will keep these emails to a minimum.
  • LobbitUp may send you Service related correspondence as appropriate or needed.

Third Party Services

LobbitUp never posts anything to your accounts with Facebook, Twitter, or any other third party sites without your express permission.

Except for the purpose of providing the Service, LobbitUp will not give your name or personal information to third parties.

We will share personal information with third parties upon good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of your information is reasonably necessary to (a) meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request; (b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations, and/or (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.

People under 18 (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) are not permitted to use LobbitUp on their own; therefore, this privacy policy makes no provision for their use of the Website.
